Did you know that 7 out of 10 dads like to receive mobile updates? And 58 percent of dads act on promotions they receive, vs only 46 percent for moms.

Not only that, but 53 percent of dads will share promotions and coupons, vs only 48 percent for moms! And both moms and dads easily beat out the 35 percent share rates for households without children.

<blockquote> 4 out of 5 parents are significantly more interested in the convenience of opt-in location-based offers, compared with people who use smartphones in general, of which 55% said that local mobile alerts would be useful.</blockquote>

And not only that, but 55 percent of dads own a tablet, vs only 39 percent for moms.

This is a lot of useful information for digital and mobile marketers. If you are on a tight budget, your best best is probably to target families and especially dads. Given all the evidence above, they seem to be more engaged with their digital devices than a lot of other people!
