Are Marketers Being Driven Crazy by Social Media? [Infographic]

By

A fair question to ask, and perhaps this infographic can offer some insight.

“The number of social media channels a marketer has to worry about has skyrocketed in the last few years. Where once a marketer could focus on just one or two primary channels, they are now faced with dozens.”

That sets up this infographic quite nicely. Basically, it breaks down how to manage your social media with only 30 minutes per day!

The simply fact is that while social media is empowering marketers, it is also forcing them to have to manage over more and more channels. With so many social media channels emerging marketers are beginning to find themselves overwhelmed.

According to this infographic, you should set aside at least 10 minutes per day to respond to Tweets. You can also schedule tweets and should work on sharing information that is useful for your industry. And make sure you set aside six minutes a day to respond to comments and engage with followers on Facebook.

Another six minutes should be set aside to promote yourself on Linkedin. Share news with your industry respond to questions, and try to engage in groups. You’ll probably only need to set aside 4 minutes for Pinterest, uploading new content and engaging with your Pinners.

Google+ and Instagram are probably only worth about 2 minutes of your time! With Google+, just make sure you share relevant information with your circles and respond to any questions. With Instagram, take time to promote content, especially if it’s behind the scenes.
