People always say they need a cup of coffee to get through the work day, but it’s fair to wonder exactly how much coffee people drink, right? Turns out that coffee is one popular beverage!
Consider this, some 43 percent of Americans feel they get less work done if they don’t drink at least one cup of coffee per day. And 63 percent drink at least two cups per day. Further, a whopping 28 percent drink at least three cups day! That’s a lot of coffee, but when I am working a long day I can easily drink three cups.
Turns out that ladies are a bit more dependent on coffee. 47 percent of women say they need a cup of joe, while only 40 percent of men respond the same. I wonder if job roles and titles have anything to do with that discrepancy? Anyways, check out the charts above for more info!
One stat that caught me a bit off guard is the fact that younger people are more dependent on coffee. 62 percent of people aged 18 to 24 say they need coffee to be productive, compared with “only” 58 percent of people age 25 to 34.
So what do these coffee drinkers do for a career? Turns out that fast food workers are the most addicted to coffee. Business executives come in at number 7 and nurses grab the 5th spot.
