Crafting That Perfect Post for Social Media Platforms [Infographic]

By

This kick ass infographic by My Clever Agency is really helpful for all of us involved in social media and digital marketing. In essence, it teaches you how to craft the perfect social media post.

On Facebook, for example, you should keep posts positive and informational. Including images, providing links, and trying to engage with potential customers is also important. Google+ is similar, with an emphasis on engaging readers and using photos.

On Tweeter you want to blast calls to action and try to use questions or facts to grab the reader’s eye. Pinterest is another interesting social media website with its own set of rules. On Pinterest you want to avoid human faces, limit the amount of “background” and make sure to include lots of red.

So at what time should you post up your perfect post? For Facebook and Twitter you want to avoid posts from 8PM until later in the morning the next day. Google+ is similar, but you should stop posting at 6pm.

Linkedin is also similar, but you can post all the way until 10PM and start posting again at 6 am. In fact, it’s best to post on Linkedin right before the workday begins or ends ( 7 to 9 am or 5pm to 6pm). If you’re a night owl, you could consider posting on Pinterest at night as you will get more hits up until 1am.

There are plenty of over details, so check out the charts above!
