Looking through this infographic makes me realize how unhealthy my diet is! So instead of my normal analysis on the infographic itself, let’s go through the list and find out which ones I have tried, and which ones I have not! Then we can see why I need to revamp my diet!
Acai, well this looks like a great health food, but to be honest I have never tried it! Too bad because it’s a great source of dietary fibers and does a lot of good for the cardiovascular system!
Then there is bee pollen, I know I’ve had that before, I just can’t remember where. I remember it being pretty bland but if it can help my digestive track and act as a great source of vitamins, it might not hurt to sprinkle some on my next bowl of cereal. Just make sure you don’t heat it up as that destroys the nutrients!
Cacao, the base ingredient of chocolate, has definitely been on my menu before. I love dark cacao chocolate that lacks all the sugar additives. So next time you’re craving for a Snickers bar, skip it for some cacao!
Chia seeds are new to me and that’s too bad because they are a great source of protein and energy! Goji berries are also new to me, but they are a great source of vitamins and can really boost your immune system. I’ll remember that the next time I get sick.
Kelp is not new to me. I’ve had it in restaurants, at dinner parties, and other places. And I don’t care if it’s a great source for calcium and can boost my metabolism, it won’t be on my grocery list any time soon! Tastes terrible. Spirulina is foreign, but it looks like it is a great source of
vitamins and antioxidants.
There are two more ingredients, but instead of me babbling on, why don’t you check out this healthy infographic by Healthpost to see if you’ve tried them! These Earth based super foods are sure to help you get in shape and enjoy a healthier lifestyle!
