Wine is not my beverage of choice, though I admit that a good glass can go very well with the right meal. Though I will admit that I am no expert in the field. Luckily, this infographic contains some really helpful insights and tips to help people like me choose what wines to go with what meals.
Syrah, for example is good with foods with strong flavors, and especially foods with a lot of spice! Sauvignon Blanc, on the other hand, goes well with tangy and tart foods. Salads with vinaigrettes and fish or chicken meals with citrus sauces are great options.
Pinot Grigio is great with light dishes, especially seafood. Since I don’t like seafood, I might have to avoid this wine for the time being! Looking for something to go with your sweet dessert? Try Moscato d’Asti. Pinot Noir, in contrast, goes great with mushroom dishes, while Cabernet Sauvignon goes great with red meat.
And how bout champagne? Turns out that champagne goes really well with salty foods. So next time you plan on popping out the bubbly, make sure to bring along some salted nuts or chips.
